/ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The XTERRA World Cup jumps back into action with live coverage of the high-speed, invite-only XTERRA Germany Short Track races in Zittau on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 3:20pm local time (CEST).
The women’s race starts first at 3:30pm, with the men’s race to follow at 4:45pm at https://www.xterraplanet.com/watch-live.
There is a lot on the line for the elites competing for the XTERRA World Cup as the top four ranked women and eight of the top 10 men chase valuable points in the fourth of five series Short Track events.
Alizée Paties from France has been on top of the standings all year, but needs another strong Short Track score to solidify her lead, while reigning XTERRA World Champion Solenne Billouin (FRA) just made a big statement with a sweep of the ST and Full-Distance races at XTERRA Czech last weekend.
“Feeling so good, happy about last weekend, how I prepared and managed my health, and now the prep is going well for Germany. This week was all about recovering well, and I feel good and excited to go again,” said Billouin.
