Women-led technical outdoor apparel brand adds national sales and supply chain managers to its growing team

Sun Valley, ID (Feb. 4, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ –  Wild Rye, the women-led brand that creates beautifully designed technical apparel to empower women in the outdoors and beyond, is excited to announce two new additions to the brand’s growing team: national sales manager, Megan Odom, and supply chain operations manager, Sara Gerritts. Following its recent rebrand, Wild Rye is prepared for a year of continued thoughtful growth within the North American market as these two highly experienced industry professionals join the Idaho-based team.

In her role as national sales manager, Bozeman-based Megan Odom will lead Wild Rye’s expansion across North America, driving growth through a variety of key initiatives. Her background in business development and new market strategy at Stio and REI uniquely equips her to strengthen Wild Rye’s presence. She will oversee sales channel strategy, evaluate and develop new sales avenues—such as group and corporate sales—and manage and expand the network of sales representatives. Additionally, by working closely with the company’s eCommerce team, Megan will ensure smoother communication and safeguard retailers from over-discounting as Wild Rye returns to its position as a full priced brand. Her expertise in building community partnerships, driving fundraising efforts, and fostering collaborative innovation will be pivotal as Wild Rye scales its operations and deepens its industry impact.

Based out of Wild Rye’s Headquarters in Sun Valley, ID, Sara Gerrits joins the team as supply chain operations manager. With a robust background in operations and supply chain management with various outdoor industry brands including Backcountry.com and Traeger Grills, Gerritts brings a proven track record of delivering impactful results and driving efficiency across diverse industries. Gerritts’ expertise in organizational management, strategic project leadership, and advanced analytics, paired with strong communication skills will be instrumental in optimizing Wild Rye’s supply chain processes as the brand continues to grow.
