WellSense supports PIONEERS Run Crew, Boston’s First Black and Brown-Led Running Community

PIONEERS Run Crew is dedicated to making running accessible and equitable for the BIPOC community in Boston. Their mission is to ensure every runner feels heard, seen, and empowered. They believe running can be a powerful tool to overcome physical and mental health disparities while promoting holistic wellness and neighborhood exploration.

As part of the sponsorship, WellSense will be a proud supporter of the PIONEERS Run Crew Anniversary 10k and Half Marathon, taking place on June 1st, 2024. This race offers runners a chance to celebrate the organization’s achievements, connect with the community, and look forward to the future. The scenic route starts at Carson Beach, follows the Harbor Walk towards Castle Island, and loops back, with a cap of 250 runners.
