Waterfall Racing to Award Professional and Age Group Triathletes Performance Bonuses

Boulder, CO /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – In an effort to assist pros and age groupers with improving their financial performance in the sport of triathlon, Waterfall Racing will be providing a podium bonus opportunity to any professional or age group athlete who joins the team and races in their annual tri race kit.

There are several key advantages to this program. For starters, athletes can select to race in another kit or sign a sponsorship opportunity at any time with no notice to Waterfall Racing. Essentially this allows the athlete to pick and choose whether they will race in the Waterfall kit, or another, at a moment’s notice.

To receive the bonus, the athlete simply posts a photo in the current kit on the podium (acknowledging they wore the kit for the race) on Instagram and other applicable social channels, and tag #waterfallracing. After emailing waterfallracing@gmail.com the results and applicable info, a check will be mailed to the athlete.

Many pro athletes go in and out of clothing sponsorships or simply are not given this opportunity. Waterfall Racing’s goal is to provide these individuals with a chance to earn income. Athletes may add other sponsors to the Waterfall Racing annual team kit so long as none of the Waterfall Racing images and names are covered.

Waterfall Racing will pay podium bonuses for the following races: Ironman and Challenge brand races for 70.3 and 140.6, Clash series races for middle and long course distances, PTO middle and long course races, excluding the Collins Cup, St Anthony’s olympic distance, LA Tri, Escape from Alcatraz, Chicago Tri and all Xterra brand pro races.

The Podium Payouts

Podium bonus amounts for professionals is as follows:

• 1^ST $1000 (For IM 70.3 and 140.6 World Championships $10,000 – PTO Canadian and PTO US Open $12,000)
• 2^ND $500 (For IM 70.3 and 140.6 World Championships $5,000 – PTO Canadian and PTO US Open $6,000)
• 3^RD $250 (For IM 70.3 and 140.6 World Championships $2,500 – PTO Canadian and PTO US Open $3,000)

Podium bonus amounts for age groupers is as follows:

• 1^ST $250(For IM 70.3 and 140.6 World Championships $1000)
• 2^ND $100 (For IM 70.3 and 140.6 World Championships $500)
• 3^RD $50 (For IM 70.3 and 140.6 World Championships $250)
