Vibram Inks Multi-Year Deal with New England Race Events

Vibram becomes the title sponsor of the Midstate Massive Ultra Trail

Boston, Massachusetts, April, 2023 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Following an inaugural partnership in 2022, the world’s leading rubber sole supplier, Vibram, has formalized a multi-year contract with New England Race Events to sponsor the Midstate Massive Ultra Trail.

From 2023 through 2025, Vibram will be the title sponsor of New England’s only point to point ultra-marathon which offers three distances: 30 miles, 50 miles and 100 miles and snakes through central Massachusetts crossing the New Hampshire and Rhode Island borders. This year the race takes place on October 7-8^th, 2023 with the 100 mile race starting at Windblown Camping (formerly Windblown Cross Country Ski Area) in New Hampshire. The Midstate Massive Ultra Trail 100M and 50M events are UTMB Index Races. Runners completing either of those events will receive a UTMB Performance Index in the category of their completed race event which can be used to enter the UTMB World Series Events and can be combined with Running Stones to enter the UTMB Finals.

As part of the sponsorship, Vibram will be providing a variety of support for race participants, including coaching and training tips by a Team Vibram elite athlete for 30/50/100 mile race participants and one on one coaching for one athlete. In addition, 25 participants will receive a free trail shoe re-sole with Vibram technology, and one pair of Vibram FiveFingers or Furoshiki shoes plus one free re-sole for the top male and top female athlete for each event each year.

The Vibram team will also be instrumental on the ground throughout the race, helping with aid stations, volunteer drivers, recon events and trail clean ups.
