Verge Renews Partnership with Intermarché-Wanty for 2025

January 6, 2025

New York, NY — January 6, 2025 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ — Verge, the innovative leader in custom cycling apparel, is proud to announce the continuation of its partnership with the Intermarché-Wanty UCI World Tour Cycling Team for a second consecutive year. The collaboration follows an exceptional 2024 season, during which the team made cycling history.

Biniam Girmay became the first Black African to win a stage in the Tour de France, an achievement that captivated the cycling world. He went on to claim three stage victories and the coveted Green Points Jersey, all while racing in Verge apparel.

Charlie Issendorf, VP of Sales & Marketing at Verge, reflected on the success of the partnership:
“The partnership with Intermarché-Wanty exceeded our expectations. We were thrilled to see Verge kit worn to victory in the Tour de France, our debut in the world’s biggest bike race. The team provided us with invaluable feedback that has directly influenced our product development. As a result, we’re introducing several new items to our custom line, originally created specifically for the team and now available to everyone.”

The collaboration goes beyond performance on the world stage. Verge has worked closely with the riders and staff of Intermarché-Wanty to deliver apparel that meets the demanding needs of elite cycling.

Jean-François Bourlart, Owner of Intermarché-Wanty, praised Verge’s commitment to excellence:
“Verge not only provided us with the clothing we needed to compete at the highest level of the sport but also took the time to listen to our riders’ feedback and created entirely new products. That level of dedication is exactly what we need from a partner.”

As Verge and Intermarché-Wanty look ahead to the 2025 season, both organizations remain committed to innovation, performance, and success on the world stage.
