February 21, 2025

Neumafit to provide science-backed insight to optimize team’s training and performance.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – USA Triathlon and Neumafit are teaming up to provide USA Triathlon’s high-performance team Project Podium with Neumafit’s PACER technology. This collaboration delivers lab-grade CPET data with exceptional affordability and convenience, eliminating the need for frequent calibration and bulky, expensive lab equipment. By removing these barriers, advanced metabolic insights become more accessible for training and performance optimization.

The company’s personal CPET device allows athletes to tap into their VO2max, Lactate Threshold (LT), calorie expenditure, and FatMax—seamlessly integrating into their real-world training environments, whether indoors or out in the field In addition to access to the devices, Project Podium athletes will also receive data analysis from Neumafit to support their performance efforts.

“Our high-performance athletes rely on data-driven insights to optimize their training and race-day execution. Neumafit’s PACER technology provides valuable physiological data that helps guide performance decisions, ensuring our athletes train smarter and compete at their best,” said Ben Pickel, USA Triathlon Senior Director, Foundation Operations and Partnerships. “Project Podium’s focus on both domestic and international performance, with eye on the LA 2028 Games, makes technology integration like this extremely impactful. We are excited to watch as the team continues to earn success across the globe while supported by brands like Neumafit.”

“At Neumafit, we are committed to making advanced metabolic testing more accessible to athletes at all levels. Through this partnership with USA Triathlon, we are excited to support Coach Parker Spencer and the Project Podium team by expediting their data collection and analysis pipeline, enabling more efficient training adaptations on the journey to the gold medal. Beyond elite performance, we also aim to provide a more accessible option for the broader triathlon community—including recreational athletes and general public—by providing a compact, affordable solution for lab-grade physiological insights. Whether for professional coaching, sports science research, or everyday training, PACER makes data-driven performance optimization more accessible than ever,” said Jinmo Kim, chief executive officer at Neumafit.
