Bend, OR /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – UltraRunning Magazine is proud to announce the 2025 Old School Ultras race calendar. These events have been added to a collection of legendary races that have stood the test of time and represent the ethos of ultrarunning. Each race was hand-selected for its history, community of volunteers and race organizers, support of small businesses and exemplary effort in trail maintenance and environmental stewardship, representing the unique culture of our sport.
2025 Old School Ultras Race Calendar:
Crown King Scramble, Arizona (50k) – March 22
Peterson Ridge Rumble, Oregon (40m) – April 13
Ice Age 50, Wisconsin (50m) – May 10
Laurel Highlands, Pennsylvania (70m) – June 14
Vermont 100 Vermont (100m) – July 18
Waldo 100k, Oregon – August 2
Plain 100, Washington (100m) – September 13
Le Grizz, Montana (50m) – October 11
Man Against Horse, Arizona (50m) – October 18
Old School Ultras was created to honor race organizations who cultivate an encouraging, supportive event. What connects our inaugural collection of races is their longevity (20+ years), culture, character, strong community, as well as being a single distance ultra event.
