Ultrarunner Dylan Bowman Signs to Gnarly Nutrition Athlete Team
February 9, 2022
Salt Lake City, UT (February 9, 2022) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Gnarly Nutrition is excited to announce the official signing of ultrarunner Dylan Bowman to its athlete team.
“I’m really excited to join the Gnarly Nutrition team and am glad they had the vision to create such a unique partnership,” said Bowman. “Not only is Gnarly supporting me as an athlete, but they’ll also be a critical sponsor for The Freetrail Podcast, and our race – Gorge Waterfalls 50k & 100k. We love their products and are really grateful to them for seeing the value in what we’re trying to create in the trail running space.”
Growing up in the mountains of Colorado, Dylan has always lived an active lifestyle. But when Bowman signed up for his first marathon in 2008 with two weeks until race day, he had never run competitively. Now, after more than a decade in the sport of ultrarunning, Bowman is consistently dominating the front of the pack. His list of accomplishments in the ultra-running scene includes first place at The North Face 100k in Australia, second place at the Hardrock 100 in Colorado, third place at the Western States 100 in California, two-time winner at Ultra Trail Mount Fuji in Japan, second place at UTMB TDS in France, two first-place finishes at the Tarawera Ultramarathon in New Zealand…and the list goes on.
Bowman’s enjoyment of the sport reaches far beyond the race itself. He is focused on bringing runners together and building a strong ultrarunning community. This is what led him to create Freetrail–a platform comprised of everything from a training app to a podcast to video content for runners. Freetrail’s interactive programming is Dylan’s solution to what he always found was missing from the sport: a strong, dedicated community and strong content to match.
Gnarly Nutrition is now a proud sponsor of Freetrail and will support Bowman with its full line of products, especially Gnarly Nutrition’s carb-based fuel source for endurance activities: Fuel2O. Utilizing Gnarly Fuel2O, Bomman finished 17th at the Grand Raid de la Réunion in the Reunion Islands in 2021, notoriously one of the toughest 100-mile ultra marathons in the world.
“We’re so excited to be a part of Dylan’s talented athletic career and positive community contributions,” said Gnarly Nutrition CEO Eli Kerr. “We’re so happy to provide support in all of Dylan’s pursuits as he pushes his possible.”
