Sprintcrowd’s Live Digital Training Platform Brings Cutting-Edge Technology to Runners Preparing for the 40th Los Angeles Marathon on March 16, 2025

LOS ANGELES, December 5, 2024 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The McCourt Foundation (TMF) has announced an innovative partnership with Sprintcrowd, naming the company the Official Digital Training Platform of the Los Angeles Marathon presented by ASICS and the LA Road Runners (LARR). The collaboration aims to expand the reach of TMF’s training programs to runners around the world.

“We’ve successfully motivated and coached runners and walkers through our in-person LA Road Runners program,” said Murphy Reinschreiber, Chief Operating Officer of TMF. “However, scalability has been a challenge. Our partnership with Sprintcrowd allows us to engage runners outside of Los Angeles, share our coaching techniques, and build a global community of athletes. Through Sprintcrowd’s feature-rich, live running app, our coaches can connect, chat with, and support participants throughout their training journey for all our events and distances.”

The partnership leverages Sprintcrowd’s innovative digital platform to transform training experiences by offering real-time interaction and fostering a virtual sense of community. Participants can now connect with coaches and fellow runners wherever they are, eliminating geographic barriers to engagement.

“The McCourt Foundation’s mission aligns perfectly with Sprintcrowd’s mission to promote health and wellbeing through active lifestyles,” said Victor Wigelius, CEO of Sprintcrowd. “By partnering together, we aim to create a supportive environment where individuals can improve their physical and mental health, while also contributing to broader community wellness.”

On March 16, 2025, the Los Angeles Marathon presented by ASICS will celebrate 40 Years Running with over 25,000 runners along starting at Dodger Stadium and finishing the 26.2-mile Stadium-to-the-Stars Course near Avenue of the Stars in Century City. Also included in the Marathon Weekend events are the LA Big 5K on Saturday, March 15 and the marathon’s two-day Lifestyle Expo held at Dodger Stadium March 14 & 15. The free expo is open to the public featuring more than 100 exhibitors and annually attracts more than 60,000 attendees.
