The Elite Trail Team Partners with Science-Based Nutrition Provider Nduranz, Who Becomes the Team’s Official Fuelling Supplier

/ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The Elite Trail Team, a trail and mountain running team competing in some of the world’s toughest races, has partnered with science-based nutrition brand Nduranz – a fuelling manufacturer focused on providing nutrition products to endurance athletes.

Scientific research is one of the core values on which both the ETT and Nduranz are founded. Doug Stewart, ETT Founder and Performance Director, explains: “We wanted to find a nutrition partner that provides a wide range of products to enable our athletes to perform at their best, with fuel that makes sense in training and racing. Our sport requires great attention to nutrition, so we worked closely with team high performance dietitian Rebecca to identify a brand that provided high-quality, Informed Sport batch tested products, and also shared our values and our science-based approach.”

ETT athlete Kris Jones has been using Nduranz to fuel his key races and training during the 2024 season. ‘Nduranz gels have been a key part of my race strategy this year. After trying the Unflavoured Nrgy Unit Gel earlier in the year, I bought lots of them to use during the summer. The neutral flavour really helps during long races, and the mix of fructose and glucose meant I could race without any GI distress. They worked really well for me at the UTMB OCC and Kullamannen Seventh Seal.’ Kris placed 6^th at the highly competitive OCC and won the Kullamannen by UTMB Seventh Seal 50k, setting a new course record.
