Team Evergreen Announces Yeti Cycles as a Presenting Sponsor of the Session Series, Beti Bike Bash, and The Hundo

May 18, 2021

EVERGREEN, CO – Team Evergreen proudly welcomes Yeti Cycles as a returning presenting sponsor to the Beti Bike Bash and a new presenting sponsor to the Session Series and The Hundo. Each of these iconic Colorado mountain bike events, promoted by Team Evergreen, incorporate their own unique philanthropic objectives. Yeti Cycles supports these missions with an overall drive to give back to the Colorado mountain bike community.

“We’re psyched to expand our relationship with Yeti Cycles, a local Golden, Colorado favorite that builds the bikes we love to ride and race on. We’ve always been fans of Yeti and are thrilled to have them on board for our mountain bike events,” shares Jennifer Barbour, Executive Director of Team Evergreen.

The Beti Bike Bash, taking place on October 3rd, is the nation’s largest women’s-only mountain bike race. The event is widely recognized for their supportive atmosphere and drive to expand the sport of mountain biking past its traditional male dominated roots. Additionally, the Beti Bike Bash benefits both Little Bellas and Go4Graham while also hosting the VIDA MTB Series women’s race-specific clinic the day prior to the event.

The Hundo, in its 11th year, is a cross country race on some of the smoothest single track in Colorado in the beloved Buffalo Creek area, and takes place on June 19th. The Hundo’s philanthropic beneficiaries are the Colorado High School Cycling League, Lucky to Ride and the Colorado Mountain Bike Association (COMBA).

The Session Series, a new three-part short-course enduro series at Floyd Hill, is focused on bringing riders together in a laid-back atmosphere for weeknight and weekend racing.  The series will benefit Clear Creek County to continue the trail building efforts of COMBA, including a downhill trail system at Virginia Canyon and the Warren Gulch downhill re-boot, and additional maintenance and building at Floyd Hill.

“Racing has always been our focus at Yeti and racing in our backyard is the best way we know to raise the level of participation in the sport we love. Team Evergreen has done such a great job giving back to local charitable and cycling advocacy organizations over the years and we’re stoked to contribute to each of these races as a way of giving back and saying thanks to the Colorado mountain bike community,”  said Kyle Rajaniemi, Marketing Manager at Yeti Cycles. “Plus, we’re always ready to strap a number plate on and pin it between the tape!”

While the Session Series and The Hundo are sold out, interested parties are encouraged to volunteer. Registration for the Beti Bike Bash can be found at betibikebash.com. For more information about each of these mountain bike events and Team Evergreen, please visit www.teamevergreen.org.
