Super League Triathlon amplifies U.S. Expansion as it partners with USA Triathlon for the Long Beach Legacy Triathlon

Racing with a purpose on the prospective LA28 Olympic venue as Super League Triathlon builds on expansion in Chicago and New York and extends relationship with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles

CALIFORNIA, USA/ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Super League Triathlon announced today that they will be continuing their rapid US expansion by assuming the operation of the 2024 Long Beach Legacy Triathlon in partnership with USA Triathlon. This marks another addition to Super League’s growing US portfolio after the acquisition of events in Chicago and New York.

The event, previously hosted by USA Triathlon, will take place at the proposed venue for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games. This is a long-term joint venture between Super League Triathlon and the sport’s governing body in the USA, USA Triathlon. The partnership will deliver the high-quality event that Super League is renowned for and help grow short course racing in the USA.

The Long Beach Legacy Triathlon will also become one of the world’s foremost fundraising triathlons as it provides a continuation of Super League’s partnership with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) and ensures further significant support to create hope and build healthier futures.

The 2024 Long Beach Legacy Triathlon will take place on July 20-21, 2024, and will feature races for age group, elite and youth athletes. This year’s schedule includes:

• A Sprint distance race (750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run) with both individual and relay categories
• A Corporate Challenge event
• A Kids’ Splash and Dash
• A World Triathlon Para Cup event
