Stars Set to Descend on Nice for Global Triathlon Awards

Great and the good of triathlon ready to celebrate the sport at the inaugural GTAs

January 19, London, UK /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – World Champions, triathlon legends and the brightest brands in the sport are set to come together at the Palais de la Mediterranee in Nice, France, on Friday, January 20, for the inaugural Global Triathlon Awards (GTAs).

The GTAs is being staged by Super League Triathlon, Professional Triathlete’s Organisation, World Triathlon, France’s Department 06 and & Ekoi as the sport’s biggest names celebrate and recognise outstanding contributions across the industry.

Will McCloy and endurance sports legend Paula Radcliffe will host a glittering ceremony at one of France’s most exclusive venues, with a Who’s Who of the triathlon world ready to attend.

Among the awards being handed out are the Best Male and Female Triathlete, Lifetime Kudos Awards and to top products from across the sport.

All but the Kudos Awards were nominated by the public, with an expert judging panel of industry experts then whittling down the shortlist and picking the final winners. For 2023, the panel included Jordan Blanco, Stephane Diagana, Emma-Kate Lidbury, Tim Don and Chelsea Burns.

The GTAs will be streamed live on Super League Triathlon’s YouTube channel, on TriathlonLIVE and PTO+ from 7pm CET.
