Speed Hound to Be Recovery Partner for Clash Miami

First class recovery experience coming to a unique event

Menlo Park, CA (March 3, 2022)/ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Speed Hound is proud to announce a partnership with Clash Endurance and named the official recovery sponsor for the Clash Miami event. While athletes swim, bike, and run their way through the south Florida terrain, they’ll have the full support of Speed Hound waiting at the finish for the ultimate recovery experience.

Clash Miami is part of the “new” race circuit that emerged from a rebranding of Challenge North America. Clash Endurance is the result of a need to take racing to a unique racing experience, blending traditional triathlons with the endurance world, with a splash of NASCAR. That’s right… NASCAR! Clash Endurance CEO Bill Christy was inspired by his NASCAR executive wife, Lesa France Kennedy, the executive vice chair of NASCAR, to bring swim, bike, run races to actual NASCAR speedways.

The race starts at Miami-Homestead Speedway with a swim- yes, a swim! Inside the speedway! This unique swim experience is provided by a natural lake, fed by an aquifer, that’s on the infield of the racetrack. This is where Nascar fans can usually be found lounging on the man-made beach while cars whiz by at top speed.

But from March 11^th-13^th the setting will be a little different, swapping racecars for athletes eager to participate in the events of the weekend’s festival. The bike segment of the race will take cyclists outside the speedway, through Florida’s famous mangroves. Then racers will make their way back to the speedway to wrap things up with a 3.1 mile run around the track.

Clash hosted their debut event at Miami-Homestead Speedway in March of 2021, and it did not disappoint. The men’s race champion was Jan Frodeno, while Jodie Stimpson won for the women. While many pre-race predictions favored other women’s racers to win, the Speed Hound gang had Jodie as their top pick all along.

This year, in addition to the triathlon, this event will also host a professional athlete race, a 5k walk/run for anyone that wants to participate, and a duathlon. There’s a little something for everyone at Clash Miami, making this one of the most family-friendly events. And we’re so excited to be ready and waiting at the finish line to help athletes jumpstart their post-race recovery.

Speed Hound is beyond thrilled to be the official recovery sponsor. So what exactly does that look like for those attending Clash Miami?

In days leading up to the race, Pro athletes will enjoy a private recovery lounge with access to the Speed Hound Pro Performance Recovery Systems to use while age group participants will be granted access to the public Speed Hound Recovery Lounge, complete with Pro Performance Recovery Systems for warming up or to boost their recovery.
