Spartan is bringing the DEKA FIT hybrid fitness event back for another heart-pounding weekend of strength, endurance, and grit. Taking place on February 15-16 at the World Equestrian Center, Ocala, Florida. This event is designed for those ready to push past their limits and prove they have what it takes to dominate the course.

Created by Spartan, DEKA is a decathlon-inspired fitness challenge designed for all levels. Whether you’re stepping into the DEKA arena for the first time or battling through the amped up DEKA FIT Ultra, you’ll be tested mentally and physically every step of the way. Using the DEKA Mark system, competitors track progress and measure their fitness against athletes worldwide, with every DEKA Mark serving as a potential DEKA World Championship qualifying time.

DEKA FIT challenges athletes to complete 10 grueling functional fitness zones, with a 500-meter run between each. Competitors will row 500m, power through box step overs, and push their limits in a 100m farmers carry among other movements that put their body to the test. The challenge culminates with 20 RAM burpees, demanding full-body endurance to cross the finish line strong.

For those seeking an even greater challenge, the DEKA FIT Ultra is a 25K (15.5-mile) endurance test packed with 50 functional zones, requiring relentless determination, physical toughness, and a never-quit attitude to earn that coveted Ultra Finisher Buckle.

• DEKA FIT – A 10-zone functional fitness challenge for ALL levels, where participants complete a 500 meter run between each station. Competitors will power through movements that will test their strength and stamina, forcing them to dig deep, embrace the burn, and push every muscle to the limit.
• DEKA FIT ULTRA – A next-level DEKA endurance challenge where competitors take on the full DEKA FIT course five times in a row, totaling 25K (15.5 miles) of running and 50 functional fitness zones. With a 99% finisher rate, this is a rare Ultra-style event that is designed for ALL fitness levels.

This Spartan DEKA platform offers four event formats:

• DEKA STRONG – A 10-zone functional fitness challenge with no running.
• DEKA MILE – A 1-mile run interspersed with the 10 DEKA zones.
• DEKA FIT – A full-throttle 5K race paired with the 10 DEKA zones, pushing competitors to their absolute limits.
• DEKA ATLAS – A harder and heavier 10-zone fitness test designed to highlight humans who have a well-rounded strength foundation and strong work capacity engine, and is also an attainable strength test goal to work toward.
