The 2021 event will take place the weekend of November 6-7, with a half- marathon and 5k. The 26.2-mile marathon and the kid’s run will return with its traditional May timing in 2022.

Race weekend begins with a free OC Lifestyle & Fitness Expo, where all runners pick up their race packets and t-shirts. The free expo will take place at the OC Fair and Event Center on Friday, November 4 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Saturday, November 6 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. The popular OC 5K then kicks the festival into high gear just before sunset at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, starting and finishing at the OC Fair and Event Center. The SDCCU OC Half Marathon begins at 6 a.m. on Sunday morning. This exceptional half marathon route takes off from Fashion Island in Newport Beach, showcasing the best of Orange County’s natural beauty including seaside neighborhoods before finishing at the OC Fair and Event Center in the heart of the OC, Costa Mesa.

The 17th annual SDCCU OC Marathon Running Festival will run through Orange County, California over the weekend of November 6-7, 2021 with the OC Half Marathon and the OC 5K. The Kids Run the OC and the OC full marathon have been paused for 2021 and will be back in May of 2022.
