QUITO, Ecuador / TAMPA, Fla. (February 2, 2024) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – IRONMAN announced today that the vibrant neighborhood of Salinas, Ecuador will host the inaugural La Roche Posay 5150™ Salinas Ecuador triathlon presented by Marathon set to take place on May 5, 2024. Registration for the event is now available by visiting www.ironman.com/5150-salinas.
The new La Roche Posay 5150 Salinas Ecuador triathlon presented by Marathon will start with a 1.5km (0.93-mile) swim in the Pacific Ocean. After exiting the water, athletes will take on the 40km (24.85-mile) bike ride on the route towards Mar Bravo before capping off their race with a 10 km (6.2miles) run through the city of Salinas making an unforgettable Ecuadorian racing experience.
