The leading endurance hydration solution, Nuun is a Climate Neutral Certified Brand and supports the industry becoming a greener, cleaner space

(November 11, 2021) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Leading hydration solution, Nuun, has been named the Official Sustainability Partner of the 2022 Running USA Industry Conference presented by Race Roster, set for Feb. 20-22, 2022 in Orlando.

A leading endurance brand with an intense focus on sustainability, both internally and for its partners, Nuun is a Climate Neutral Certified Brand. This certification means that the company measures its greenhouse gas emissions annually when producing and delivering products, and takes steps to reduce, eliminate or offset them.

As part of the partnership, Nuun will support and provide opportunities for attendees to offset carbon use from their travel and participation at the conference.

“Nuun is a return partner of our event and we appreciate the creativity with which they approach each new relationship,” said Christine Bowen, Vice President of Programming, Partnerships and Operations for Running USA. “This year, they will support a challenging activation for our event and provide educational opportunities for attendees in the process.”

Nuun is also supporting Running USA’s efforts to certify the 2022 Conference through the Council for Responsible Sport’s standards for sustainability, which is well known to event producers throughout the endurance industry.

“We appreciate Nuun’s support of our first-ever event certification effort via the Council,” said Dawna Stone, CEO of Running USA. “Our event has becoming progressively more sustainable each year in part thanks to Nuun, and it’s now time to benchmark and improve on those efforts going forward.”

“We at Nuun are honored to once again partner with Running USA for an issue that is so important to our core and for the running industry as a whole” said Kevin Rutherford CEO of Nuun. “In every aspect of our business, we consider impact and work towards building a greener future. We look forward to strengthening our commitment to sustainable practices with this partnership.”

Nuun’s functional hydration portfolio features clean ingredients that work with one’s body, giving them the nutrients they need to stay healthy and hydrated. To further reinforce its commitment to sustainability, Nuun’s products are formulated with a plants-first mindset, backed by third-party certifications making each of its products Gluten Free, Kosher, Vegan and Non-GMO.
