The World Marathon Challenge is an amazing logistical and physical challenge to run 7 marathons on 7 continents in 7 days, or in 168 hours. The clock starts when the first marathon begins in Antarctica, followed by marathons in Cape Town, Perth, Dubai, Madrid, Fortaleza, and concluding in Miami – all to be completed within 168 hours.
Aurora Marathon Run with the Northern Lights
Date: February 26 2025
This marathon is held in Alta, located in the northernmost region of Norway, a town celebrated for its breathtaking natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. It is a formidable challenge to run a marathon in the dark winter of the Finnmarksvidda plateau, deep within the Norwegian Arctic.
