Arlington, VA (April 7, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) is now accepting applications for the 2025 RunPro Camp, an interactive and educational experience designed for distance runners eager to transition into a pro running career. The camp will take place from July 10-12 in Arlington, Virginia, offering the opportunity for up to 20 qualified athletes to attend, with travel and lodging provided.
Open to runners who will finish their NCAA eligibility by June 30, 2025, as well as those who have completed eligibility within the past 24 months, this exclusive camp is an invaluable resource for athletes looking to take the next step in their careers. Runners who receive support through the RRCA’s RunPro programs as they transition to professionals have a strong track record of success in the sport. At the 2024 Olympic Marathon Trials, six of the top 25 women finishers (including four in the top ten) and seven of the top 25 women finishers were RunPro Camp alums or RunPro Grant recipients.
Participants will have the chance to network with top coaches, agents, professional athletes, and elite athlete coordinators. Camp sessions will cover critical topics, including securing sponsorships, managing finances as an athlete, understanding anti-doping protocols, and mastering the ins and outs of USATF regulations governing professional running. To be eligible, applicants must be U.S. citizens or U.S. residents who have filed Form N-400 with USCIS.
