June 1, 2023
Scheduled for Nov. 5, the event is expected to attract more than 5,000 participants; 10K option returns with a brand new walking division
PITTSBURGH (June 1, 2023)/ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Registration is now open for the 2023 EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler and 10K, one of Pittsburgh’s largest fall running events. The 10K option returns with a brand new walking division to inspire even more people to MOVE at the event on Nov. 5.
“We launched the 10K in 2022 which was a big hit, so we want to expand that event for even more MOVERS to enjoy in 2023 with the brand-new Walking Division,” said Troy Schooley, P3R CEO. “This year we also are adding even more bands and cheer groups along the course. We hope the sights, sounds and energy of additional entertainment will help to push participants onto that next mile and remind them why Pittsburgh is one of the best places to MOVE.”
Starting near Station Square, the 10-mile course offers breathtaking views of the Pittsburgh skyline and rivers and takes participants on a tour of four of Pittsburgh’s neighborhoods. The 10K course starts on the North Shore near PNC Park. Both races finish on Liberty Avenue in Downtown Pittsburgh.
“We are looking forward to once again showing off our beautiful city and its energetic and active community at the EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler and 10K,” said Ellen Rossi, President of EQT Foundation. “Building healthy communities is central to our mission, and we are proud to inspire thousands of runners and walkers to move with us each year.”
All EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler and 10K participants will receive professional chip timing and personalized race bib. Pricing for the 10K starts at $39.99 and $49.99 for the 10-mile. Participants can upgrade their registration to also include a premium EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler hoodie and finishers medal for an additional $20. Participants who register early can save an additional $5 during special opening day pricing from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 1.

On race day, parents and guardians will be able to drop off their children ages five to 13-years-old at Highmark Stadium, where P3R’s youth programming team will lead kids in fun activities. Participants will then return to Highmark Stadium after they finish their race to pick up their children.
