Red Bull Roundabout Rumble Brings ACTION-PACKED Cycling Competition to Indianapolis

Hundreds of Cyclists will Race Around Monument Circle on April 5th

INDIANAPOLIS /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Red Bull Roundabout Rumble is a new criterium (crit) race taking place at the racing capital of the world – Indianapolis. On April 5th, 500 cyclists across professional and amateur classes will reach speeds of up to 30mph in an innovative and challenging course centered around Indianapolis’ iconic Monument Circle. The event is free to the public and runs from 2pm to 9:30pm. Full schedule can be found at redbull.com/roundaboutrumble.

A dynamic world class course will challenge 100 cyclists from each category in a 0.8-mile circuit that surrounds Monument Circle and stretches north on Meridian St to Vermont St. The course will test athletic ability and reward technical skill, highlighted by two long straightaways, fast sweeping corners, and a hairpin turn right in front of thousands of spectators. With modified rules to improve racing dynamics and an enhanced live show experience, this is a race anyone won’t want to miss.

“The challenges racers will face at Red Bull Roundabout Rumble are fit for a city known for hosting the biggest and most spectacular races in the world,” said Justin Williams, Red Bull athlete and cycling sensation helming the L39ION of Los Angeles team. “I’m eager to see some of the top pros from around the world tackle the course, but I’m more excited to witness the local riders shine in the amateur classes. It is intriguing to see the caliber of talent the city where high speed is a way of life will bring!”

Amateur riders are encouraged to register across Open Men’s, Open Women’s, and Masters categories. Amateur racers will be required to sign up at redbull.com/roundaboutrumble prior to April 3rd and pay a small fee of $60.
