June 12, 2024

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Ragnar Events, the industry leader in team based running, announces a brand new event, Ragnar Trail North Texas, to be held at the TADRA Point Trailhead, in the LBJ National Grasslands, just 45 minutes northwest of Dallas/Fort Worth on May 2-3, 2025. This unique event will be a perfect addition to the North Texas outdoor and running communities and is an excellent extension of Ragnar’s event portfolio.

At this event, teams of eight will run approximately 120 miles on three beautiful loops winding through the TADRA Point Trailhead. Participants will run day and night and day, while camping in a temporary tent city and participating in activities in the Ragnar Village, all located within the Trailhead. Hundreds of teams are expected to descend on the area to take part in the event.

“For several years we have hosted an extremely successful Ragnar event in the Hill Country of Texas, at Flat Rock Ranch, outside of San Antonio. We could not be more excited to expand our presence in the state and bring Ragnar to North Texas,” said Ragnar General Manager Philip Lahaye. “North Texas has a thriving running community and trail running is becoming extremely popular. The trails at TADRA Point are excellent, perfect for our Ragnar community. Our participants will love the beauty and accessibility of these trails. We are excited to support the community, partner with local organizations, and look forward to returning here year after year.”
