Nationwide poll crowns the top half marathon in all 50 states

Los Angeles, CA (April 30, 2024)/ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The runners have spoken and RaceRaves, the nation’s premier race finder & reviews community, has announced the much-anticipated results of its 2024 initiative to crown the best half marathon in every U.S. state.

The company’s authoritative new guide, which features a profile of every winning event by state plus a nod to the runners-up, will help novice and seasoned runners alike discover great events nationwide and build their all-star half marathon wish list.

Winners were determined through an online poll conducted on RaceRaves.com from March 7–31 (one entry per person with a valid email). Three or more candidates per state plus a write-in option were provided based on finisher ratings and reviews on RaceRaves. Nearly 20,000 votes were cast from all 50 states and 31 countries.

Highlights from the winners include:

• The Cincinnati Flying Pig Paycor Half Marathon in Ohio earned bragging rights as the poll’s top overall vote-getter 🐷
• The Monterey Bay Half Marathon prevailed in California, the state with the most total half marathons.
• Two event management companies celebrated wins in multiple states: FRESHJUNKIE Racing (Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi) and Ventures Endurance (Maine, New Hampshire, North Dakota).

Common themes among the winning events include exceptional production and race-day support, strong community involvement, and half marathon courses that showcase the distinctive beauty, charm and character of the local region.
