According to the final ratings tally for the 2024 Summer Olympics, the NBCU platforms averaged 30.7 million viewers per day, a composite figure that includes the live coverage in the afternoons (2-5 p.m. ET) and the traditional primetime windows. That combined delivery marked an 82% improvement compared to the long-delayed Tokyo Games in 2021 (16.9 million viewers), and now stands as the biggest turnout since the London Olympics a dozen years ago.
