This annual awards program honors and celebrates the run specialty stores in the U.S. that go beyond selling gear by creating welcoming spaces, fostering community, and driving industry innovation. A Thoughtful Selection Process

As a cornerstone of TRE, The Best Running Stores awards program honors run specialty stores that demonstrate outstanding customer service, community engagement, and business leadership. An extensive evaluation process, including a secret shopper visit to the top 100 stores, assesses factors like mentorship opportunities, sustainability efforts, inclusivity, and overall customer experience. Following this months-long process, winners will be selected and notified in late July.
