Naboso Announces Brian Roberts as Director of Sales

Roberts brings 25+ year’s experience in outdoor, sporting goods and run specialty to sensory therapy and recovery leader

Chandler, AZ — February 23, 2022 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Naboso, a global leader in sensory and recovery products, announces the addition of Brian Roberts as Director of Sales. Brian brings over 25 years of experience in running specialty, retail ownership and sports sales and marketing. Most recently, Roberts was the National Sales Manager at Altra Running where he oversaw sales strategy for footwear and apparel and helped grow the business from $5 million to over $40 million in US wholesale.

A graduate of from the school of Health Science and Human Performance at Ithaca College, Roberts is an avid runner, cyclist and outdoor adventurer who also recently built and led the wholesale rep team for Excel Outdoors’ line of hydration products, Ultimate Direction.  Roberts was introduced to Naboso and co-Founder of the company, Dr. Emily Splichal, Functional Podiatrist and Human Movement Specialist, in 2021, and immediately identified a challenge that he had tackled with Altra and other brands in his years of introducing new innovations to running specialty.

“I spent the early days at Altra convincing run store owners that Altra was a better solution for runners than traditional shoe brands,” Roberts explains. “The early adopters of Altra are now being rewarded.  I identified this as a similar challenge and opportunity with Naboso, in that it is a disruptive brand that we know for certain helps people feel better, perform better and recover faster. I really enjoy introducing people to something that is unlike anything they have seen before.”

Naboso is on a strong growth trajectory right now, as foot recovery and sensory therapy are trending high in the health space and being increasingly adopted by trainers, therapists, sports medicine professionals and athletes. The company recently launched new Recovery Socks, which feature a patent-pending texture inside the sock to help improve circulation, help speed recovery and reduce foot fatigue.
