Mount to Coast™ Hires U.S. Country Manager Doug Rosenberg to Lead Wholesale Strategy and Support Independent Run Specialty

HONG KONG /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Mount to Coast™, the first performance shoe brand to specialize in ultrarunning and long-distance pursuits, today announced that it has named Doug Rosenberg as its U.S. Country Manager. He will lead business growth in wholesale channels as well as operational efficiency to meet financial goals.

Rosenberg, a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Stanford’s Graduate School of Business, brings over 25 years of experience in both domestic and international roles in e-Commerce, merchandising and business operations. Most recently as Brooks Running’s Director of Global Footwear Business and Strategic Sourcing, Rosenberg was charged with creating a footwear sourcing strategy and costing process to improve product quality and profitability through factory partnerships, business planning, and strategic negotiations. Previous to Brooks, Rosenberg worked for Gap Inc on international strategy and eCommerce.
In his role with Mount to Coast, Rosenberg will specifically focus on revenue growth in the run specialty channel and maintaining strong retail partnerships. He will also support brand communications through marketing and public relations efforts.

A dedicated runner and lifelong athlete, Rosenberg uniquely understands the needs and aspirations of Mount to Coast customers. He regularly runs more than 1,000 miles a year and has completed over 30 half marathons, 20 marathons, three ultramarathons, and three Ironman Triathlons, oftentimes with his spouse. Rosenberg will continue to be based out of Massachusetts where he resides with his family.
