More Star Names Added To Supertri E Line-Up
March 12, 2025

March 12, 2025 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Former World Champion Dorian Coninx is among the latest big names confirmed to race the Supertri E World Triathlon Championships powered by MyWhoosh on Saturday, April 5.
The Frenchman, who was the 2023 World Champion and collected a bronze medal in the mixed relay at the Tokyo Olympics, will be making his debut in the format at the London Aquatic Centre at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
He already knows he will be up against defending champion Chase McQueen and triathlon legend Jonathan Brownlee, but also joining the line-up is Hugo Milner, the next British male hope.
Milner, who was inspired to take up the sport after watching Supertri E on TV, made it to the final in London last year and has grown hugely as an athlete since. His remarkable run speed on the treadmill was a big factor and is expected to be even faster this time round.
Also back at Supertri E is Fanni Szalai, the Hungarian prodigy who famously made global headlines when she debuted as a 15-year-old in Sursee, Switzerland, two years ago, creating a massive shock by not only qualifying for the finals but finishing on the podium.
Two British stars are also joining the line-up and are likely medal contenders, with Jess Fullagar and Sian Rainsley set to compete. Already announced to take part are Olympic gold medallist Cassandre Beaugrand and Britain’s defending champion Beth Potter.
The 2025 Supertri E World Triathlon Championship is the future of triathlon and hopes to inspire the next generation of triathlon fans and athletes with tickets on sale now. In support of this mission, under 14s can attend for free (when accompanied by a paying adult), making this groundbreaking event accessible for families and young sports enthusiasts alike.
For the first time, the 2025 event will mirror the unique and high-pressure Supertri format of three continuous rounds of swim, bike and run, putting even more pressure on athletes with any minor mistake magnified and punished.
- Morning heats: Athletes compete across two continuous stages of swim – bike – run
- World Championship Finals from 6pm: The top 10 men and top 10 women from the heats will race through three continuous stages of swim – bike – run
Every moment counts in this format, as athletes battle for not only the Supertri E World Triathlon Championship titles but also crucial World Triathlon ranking points. The intensity of the competition will be magnified under the spotlight of the London Aquatics Centre, with fans creating an electric atmosphere for the crowning of the 2025 world champions in what promises to be another exhilarating test of endurance, strategy, and precision.
