Treat PR to increase support for Dave McGillivray and his nonprofit

MISSION VIEJO, Calif. /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Treat Public Relations has expanded its engagement with clients Dave McGillivray and the Dave McGillivray Finish Strong Foundation. The PR agency representing endurance sports events and public figures will also continue to support media relations initiatives for DMSE Sports alongside their in-house communications team.

Owner and Principal Meg Treat, APR, has been named Director of Operations and Communications of the Finish Strong Foundation, where she will oversee day-to-day operations, program and event management, as well as marketing and communications for the nonprofit. The foundation launched a refreshed brand and mission last year. Treat is tasked with launching key programming and partnerships that will bring this new framework to life. The Treat PR team will support her in this effort.

In addition, Treat PR will now manage all things related to McGillivray’s personal brand, including publicity, speaking engagements, and brand partnerships. McGillivray has been an endurance icon for more than 40 years, and continues to impact the sport with his rich stories and astute insights.
