Mardi Gras Mambo welcomes Baton Rouge General as Title Sponsor

Baton Rouge, LA /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – On your mark, get set, go! Carnival season starts early as FRESHJUNKIE Racing (FJR) is thrilled to announce registration is Now Open for the 2023 Baton Rouge General Mardi Gras Mambo.
The event boasts a distance for everyone from beginners to runners dipping their toe into longer distances and includes a 10K, 15K, and one-mile Fun Run. The Mardi Gras Mambo runs in downtown Baton Rouge and starts and finishes at North Boulevard Town Square.
Started in 1999 by the Baton Rouge Area Sports Foundation, the Mardi Gras Mambo has hosted Baton Rouge’s best 10K. The event is now produced by FRESHJUNKIE Racing and supported by sponsors that include Baton Rouge General, Core Power, Raising Cane’s, and many more.
“Partnering with the Mardi Gras Mambo is one way we are working to make Baton Rouge healthier,” said Edgardo Tenreiro, President and CEO of BRG. “It’s a fun, family-friendly event that reminds us how important exercise is to a long, healthy life.”
