Global running travel experts Marathon Tours & Travel are delighted to be launching in Australia, with an extensive event portfolio for those seeking their next running adventure.

And a headline event for the team is Sydney Marathon, which recently entered a three-year evaluation process as a candidate race for the prestigious Abbott World Marathon Majors. Set on a spectacular course that shows off the very best sites and sounds of Sydney, it is part of an annual running festival which includes a choice of distances appealing to all – with full and half marathon distances, along with a 10km event and 3.5km ‘fun run’. Consistently an IAAF Road Race Gold Label status event, the team at Marathon Tours & Travel say that their “biggest goal is to be a major factor in creating Australia’s first Abbott World Marathon Major, the Sydney Marathon.”
