Machines For Freedom Launches Cool Weather Cycling Essentials Fall Collection

(Oct 6, 2020) – Machines For Freedom®, the inclusive women’s cycling apparel brand, today announces the launch of its fall 2020 collection, to continue delivering problem solving, performance-wear for womxn cyclists. The new cool weather-ready line up consists of innovative apparel pieces  such as the Essential Cycling Pant, the Luxe Cropped Base in Sleeveless and Long Sleeve. The best-selling Summerweight long sleeve jersey will also appear in a new seasonal print, Moonlight.

“Machines’ ‘north star’ is to fix womxn’s gear that doesn’t function, fit or flatter,” said founder Jenn Kriske. “We’re thrilled to provide year-round layering options designed to solve the issue of ill-fitting, bunching layering with cycling apparel built from the ground up with womxn’s needs in mind.

Inspired by the Essential Short, a comfortable cycling bib alternative that maintains technical benefits, The Essential Pant (MSRP $158) is a full-length cycling legging designed for long rides. The pant features a yoga-inspired waistband that stays up all day without squeezing or pinching, and mesh paneling at the back of the knee providing ventilation as well as aesthetic style lines. Machines’ “All Day Compression” fabric is a soft, matte and supports the body’s curves with mid level compression and features chamois graded for 6+ hours in the saddle. Available starting October 5, 2020 in sizes XS – XXXL.

The solution-oriented base layer tops were designed to solve the issue of layers fitting too snug across the bust and layers bunching when tucked into cycling bibs, shorts or pants. The Luxe Cropped Base in Sleeveless (MSRP $55) and Long Sleeve (MSRP $65) are designed to slip seamlessly into the cycling bottoms, hitting just below the natural waist to create a figure-flattering shape that tucks easily without any bunching. Machines’ newest Better Than Skin fabric provides a silky handfeel that glides easily under outer layers and wicks moisture away from the skin. The four-way stretch, high-gauge fabric provides impressive compression as well as UPF 50+ sun protection to keep skin protected from the sun’s rays when the jersey is open. The Luxe Cropped Base in Sleeveless and Long Sleeve will be available starting October 5, 2020 in sizes XXS – XXXL.

The new Moonlight print in the Summerweight Long Sleeve Jersey (MSRP $168) brings a deep navy placement print with hits of bright white and light blues, inspired by moonlight hitting the leaves on a nighttime ride. The lightweight ultra moisture-wicking fabric provides 50+ sun protection and features a side zip, moisture resistant pocket for your essentials. The Summerweight Long Sleeve in Moonlight will be available starting October 12, 2020 in sizes XS-XXXL.
