Lizard Skins Launches New Monitor Glove, The 3 SZN

Designed to take over for the standard Monitor in colder, wetter weather

American Fork, Utah (July 28, 2022) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Lizard Skins, a leader in grips and handlebar tape, knows a lot about a rider’s contact points, and their renowned Monitor line of gloves has been providing comfort and performance in the hands, perhaps the most important contact point, for years. Now, with the launch of the new Monitor 3 SZN, they’re extending the line with a Monitor aimed at riding road or dirt in cold, inclement conditions.

The new Monitor 3 SZN glove has what the original Monitor line has offered for years – great fit, comfort, bar feel, and protection against rocks and branches while protecting your hands against cold weather. The flexible thermal backing keeps the cold weather at bay, and the elasticated cuff allows the glove to be worn either over or under a sleeve of a jacket.

The model also features a nano water-resistant lining to keep moisture out. Plus, with a tackified, hydro-resistant material in the palm, offers outstanding grip, even in the wettest conditions. To maximize bar feel and connection, there is no padding in the glove.

“We have heard from athletes like Kerry Werner, Erin Huck, and others that they’d love to see a Monitor glove designed for when things got a little colder and wetter. So this glove has been overdue, but we had to make sure it stood up to the Monitor standard,” says Ryan Huntington, Lizard Skins’ Sales and Marketing Director.
