Let’s Race Relaunches Search App with Updated Features and Search Functionality
February 7, 2022
The latest app update leverages new mobile technology to enhance athletes search and social experiences.
Gainesville, FL (February 7, 2022) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Last month Let’s Race relaunched their free iOS app with several new features, including improved search and social options. The app’s aggregated database of U.S. triathlon, swimming and running events includes new ways for users to find and link to event registration pages and connect with each other.
“Our goal from day one has been to help athletes quickly find and register for events, and to showcase brands,” founder Brian Hunt said. “Athletes spend a lot of effort training; our app saves them time from paging through website results or cluttered social media looking for races to register for. We’ve had a great response over the last 2.5 years and are excited about this redesign.”
New features include:
- Fast and simple list, calendar, map and brand searches
- In-app registration notifications
- User messages and follows
- Clubs
- Push notifications for brands, clubs, and individual races
“Mobile leads race website views and athletes continue to grow more comfortable completing registration transactions from their mobile device. Our app has native solutions that position us at the forefront of these trends.”
Let’s Race aggregates data from multiple registration platforms and race websites to provide a one-stop shop for athletes. They have also innovated a marketplace approach to categorizing races, including: seasonal race lists (turkey trots, St. Patrick’s Day runs, etc.), trail and off road events, beer and wine runs, and more. Races of the week and brands are featured to increase event visibility.
