Launches International Women’s Day, Features International Athletes and Adventurers

For 25 years, KINeSYS has been supporting and protecting women, no matter how they play. This year, KINeSYS is thrilled to be connecting with even more women who enjoy the outdoors by backing the internationally acclaimed Women’s Adventure Film Tour in the USA.

The tour, which is in its second season in the USA and Canada, will host over 75 screenings all across North America. Originally launched in Australia by Adventure Entertainment in partnership with She Went Wild, the short film tour is tied to Women’s Health Week each year and aims to celebrate inspirational women doing remarkable things in the name of adventure.

Refreshed regularly and featuring 5 – 8 short films over a 100-minute screening, the event’s exiting line-up for WAFT 2020 features an all-star cast of international athletes and adventurers, including two-time Appalachian Trail FKT record holder, Jennifer Pharr-Davis; Red Bull cliff diver, Rhiannan Iffland; North Face Athlete Team Captain, Hilaree Nelson; accomplished climber, Angie Scarth-Johnson, and more. Selected screenings will feature emcee introductions, prize draws and Q&A sessions.

KINeSYS is no stranger to adventure sports and the great outdoors. Owned and operated by dedicated outdoors enthusiasts, KINeSYS has been a committed supporter of adventure sportsmen and women since its inception. This support includes partnering with Dawn Wall climbers, Tommy Caldwell and Kevin Jorgeson, during their 2019 Australian tour.
