GIBBON North America has sold more than 100,000 SlackBoards and grew SlackBoard sales more than 4X year over year in 2024, from $3 million in 2023 to more than $14 million in 2024. Our exclusive focus has been direct-to-consumer sales, primarily through our website. The majority of our awareness to date has been driven by Meta advertising. In 2025, we intend to broaden our awareness by expanding into several additional advertising platforms including CTV, YouTube, TikTok, and, Reddit. The Digital Content Manager will provide data-based insights into the type of content we should create, and then manage the process to get the content created and launched.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and data-driven Digital Content Manager with a proven track record of generating content for ROI positive digital advertising. This person will dive deep into social media and customer feedback, stay on top of what is trending on social media, and create content that is ROI positive.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation
o Work with Directors Customer Experience and Digital Strategy on the Creative Flywheel:
▪ Research: dig into reviews comments, customer feedback for key words/phrases/product usage
▪ Ideation: use research to create concepts for ads
▪ Briefing: write creative briefs to communicate full requirements to content creators
▪ Content Creation: Manage the creators to ensure their deliverables are on track
▪ Evaluation/Revision: Review and revise their files if needed
▪ Launch: Send to Director of Digital Strategy to launch
▪ Creative Analysis: Review performance with Director of Digital Strategy, and use that analysis to inform the next research phase.
o Find, evaluate, and negotiate with content creators
o Create scripts/storyboards for creators, or review and edit the scripts/storyboards that creators make before filming
o Manage creators to ensure projects are delivered on time, in full, and within budget
o Manage relationships with creators so that we can work together again if desired
Digital Asset Management
o Coordinating Video/Photoshoots
o Manage/Organize Digital Assets in Air
o Take videos/images at events that could be used in ads or on social media
o Work with parent company on content/sharing digital content with them
Social Media
o Manage the organic social media account, including creating and scheduling posts
o Respond to direct messages
o Prune negative comments on ads
Qualifications:
• 2-5 years of Digital Marketing experience, for a healthy lifestyle brand is a plus
• Experience creating content for Facebook, Instagram and websites
o TikTok, YouTube, and Reddit are a plus
o Experience creating content for Amazon advertising is a plus
o Experience creating content for television is a plus
o Experience creating content for POP displays is a plus
• Strong understanding of social media trends
• Strong understanding of anatomy of what makes a video a good social media ad
• Strong understanding of GIBBON’s core audiences and what works in our specific ad account
• Organized and diligent
• Able to work well independently
• Experience editing social media clips
• Demonstrated Success Recruiting and Managing Creators
• Demonstrated Success Recruiting and Managing Affiliates and Brand Ambassadors
• Experience with Air is a plus
• Fits into one of our key demographics (parent of young kids, action sports athlete, adult interested in fitness/wellness) is a plus
