New Environmentally Focused Non-Profit Launches Fitness-Inspired Events to Build a Community to Fight Climate Change
BOSTON, MA – June 3, 2024 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Climb 4 Climate, a non-profit on a mission to fight climate change, today announced its inaugural stadium stair-climbing event will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at iconic Harvard Stadium. The event will feature an immersive atmosphere charged with energy and purpose. Participants will climb up the concrete seats, 30 rows high, and down the steps in all 37 sections of Harvard Stadium. Climbers ascend alongside fellow athletes and eco warriors, the unmistakable feeling that we are all in this fight together is felt by every climber.
Participants will feel a huge sense of accomplishment once they finish climbing the stadium. Experiencing the feat of climbing Harvard Stadium will help Climb 4 Climate Boston participants understand the importance of taking on other big challenges in their lives such as fighting climate change.
Corporate partners and donors will also play a vital role in Climb 4 Climate’s mission and help generate more excitement around this event. Their support drives real environmental change and offers an opportunity to showcase their commitment to sustainability. Following the climb, participants and their families can enjoy the Climb 4 Climate “Festivo,” featuring activities for all ages, including food trucks and music, along with local businesses and climate action exhibitors.
Early bird pricing for Climb 4 Climate Boston is available until midnight ET on August 8, 2024. The adult early bird fee will be $25, rising to $40 on August 10th. Adults must raise a minimum of $250 to participate in the climb. Students ages 13 to 18 will pay $15 before August 9th or $25 after that date, and must raise a minimum of $150 to participate.
Climber raised funds from the Climb 4 Climate Boston event that will be directed to climate change organizations. The Climb 4 Climate’s Climate Advisory Board will determine the allocation and will select non-profits that demonstrate measurable and immediate climate action.
