TAMPA, Fla. (March 21 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – IRONMAN today confirmed its broadcast schedule for the 2025 season, featuring all 18 of the IRONMAN Pro Series races™ across nine months of the year and kicking off with this weekend’s IRONMAN 70.3 Geelong triathlon in Victoria, Australia. Following the success of the 2024 coverage, which saw over 36 million views across all races inclusive of live and replays, fans of the sport will yet again be able to watch the action play out at six full distance IRONMAN® races and eight IRONMAN® 70.3® triathlons, as well as the women’s and men’s IRONMAN World Championship triathlons in Nice, France and Kona, Hawai`i, and the two-day IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship triathlon in Marbella, Spain.
The live broadcast coverage will be available to viewers in United States and Canada exclusively on Outside TV and for international audiences across multiple platforms, including proseries.ironman.com, IRONMAN Triathlon YouTube, DAZN, iQIYI, and L’Equipe in France. A full re-cap will be available on YouTube, with on-demand playback also available on DAZN and Outside+ for viewers in the United States and Canada.

As part of IRONMAN’s mission to continue evolving the broadcast offering, for the first time this year professional athletes will be fitted with GPS trackers which will feedback real time data and positioning into the studio as well as being integrated into the on-screen leaderboard graphic. Starlink satellite technology will also be used at certain races to help eliminate dark zones and ensure that viewers don’t miss a second of the action.
The live broadcast commentary team will also see some new faces this year as 10-time IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 World Champion Daniela Ryf and five-time IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 World Champion Craig Alexander will be helping call in the action. They will join will the existing commentating team, made up of fellow G.O.A.Ts of the sport, including IRONMAN World Champions and Hall of Famers Greg Welch and Michellie Jones, as well as three-time time IRONMAN World Champion Mirinda Carfrae, and IRONMAN champions Dede Griesbauer and Michael Lovato. Matt Lieto will also be providing analysis from both on the course and in the studio throughout the 2025 season.
Various guest commentators will also join throughout the season to provide their own unique perspectives and insights to the live coverage
The action kicks off this weekend down-under in Geelong, where nearly 60 professional athletes will race in the first IRONMAN Pro Series event of the 2025 season.

“A Fighting Chance”, available on IRONMAN Triathlon YouTube, will also return through the 2025 season providing fans with exclusive behind the scenes content of select professional athletes as they prepare for their respective races.
A pre-season show made up of four episodes is also available now. Featuring fan favorites Kristian Blummenfelt (NOR), Gustav Iden (NOR), Taylor Knibb (USA), Magnus Ditlev (NOR) and Kat Matthews (GBR) viewers can get a glimpse into their pre-season training and hear their goals for the year ahead.
Ahead of IRONMAN 70.3 Geelong this Sunday 23 March, a pre-race show will also be available featuring 2024 IRONMAN 70.3 World Champion Jelle Geens (BEL) and Australian race hopeful’s Jasmine Brown, Kurt McDonald and Nat Van Coevorden as they discuss gameplay and competition.
In an updated format for the 2025 season, IRONMAN will drop an episode in advance of each IRONMAN Pro Series race, featuring a short recap of the prior IRONMAN Pro Series race, interviews with the winners, an update on the points and standings, and a preview of the upcoming race, alongside commentary from Daniela Ryf, providing a unique insider’s perspective.
