Inaugural Muscatine Triathlon Unveils one of the Largest 2025 Prize Purses for a sprint class triathlon in a USA Triathlon sanctioned race

MUSCATINE, Iowa (March 20, 2025) — The inaugural Muscatine Triathlon, presented by Sqwincher®, is all set for Aug. 2, offering participants a scenic and challenging race designed for athletes of all levels. But what is really catching everyone’s attention is the event is offering one of the largest 2025 prize purses for a sprint class triathlon in a USA sanctioned race, adding an intriguing element for elite competitors.

Participants will start with a 750-meter swim, a 12.4-mile bike ride, and finish with a 5K run. The race takes place at Deep Lakes Park, which has seen significant community investment in recent years. In addition to the race, there will be activities the entire family can enjoy, such as a farmers’ market, a kid’s fitness zone, and more. Following the event, there will be an after-party with live music, food, and drinks down on the Muscatine Riverfront.
