GFNY opens 2025 in Bali this Sunday
February 13, 2025

The “Island of the Gods” will host the sixth edition of GFNY Bali
New York City, February 13, 2025 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – This Sunday, GFNY Bali, one of the world’s most beautiful and iconic destinations, will offer participants two options: a competitive long course of 137.7km with 2226m of climbing and a non-competitive medium course of 87 km. With its stunning landscapes, challenging terrain, and rich culture, Bali offers a unique experience for cyclists seeking an unforgettable race.
“GFNY in Bali is undoubtedly one of the absolute highlights on the 30+ annual events on the GFNY calendar,” says GFNY CEO Uli Fluhme. “Of course the landscape – the “playground” of this race – is just spectacular. But as always “la corsa la fanno i corridori”, the racers make the race: the Balinese and other Indonesians make the race such a special experience for anyone lucky enough to be part of it. The term “unforgettable experience” is overused, but in this case it truly applies.”
Known as the “Island of the Gods,” Bali offers not just a world-class race but also an opportunity to explore its diverse culture, stunning beaches, and vibrant local life. GFNY riders and their families can enjoy Bali’s rich cultural heritage, from the ancient temples to the dynamic arts scene, as well as the world-famous Balinese cuisine and tropical landscapes.
