The app WHIP LIVE provides their tech to GFNY riders

NEW YORK CITY, January 31, 2025 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – GFNY, the Global Endurance Sports Series, continues its partnership with Italian company ENDU which provides the WHIP LIVE app to the GFNY riders. This partnership, which began in 2024, has proven to enhance the GFNY race-day experience for thousands of riders globally.

The WHIP LIVE app provides a distinctive system that enables participants to be monitored during an event solely using their smartphones, eliminating the need for expensive and cumbersome GPS and tracking hardware. This not only streamlines procedures for both participants and organizers but also offers an interactive experience to the public, allowing them to follow the event live through our 3D map.

“Live tracking through an app is nothing brand new,” says GFNY CEO Uli Fluhme. “But other solutions suffer from being too complicated to use and/or excessive battery usage that leave you with a dead phone at the finish line. WHIP, instead, runs as set-and-forget in the background and uses a minimal amount of battery. The app eliminates for example the “where is my partner?” questions from concerned loved ones at the finish line.”

Michelob ULTRA GFNY World Championship NYC

The 13th annual Michelob ULTRA GFNY World Championship New York will be held on May 18, 2025. The race features the world’s most international peloton with riders from over 90 countries. It is so international that it’s often described as the United Nations of cycling. Athletes take on a challenging route to compete against each other, the clock, and themselves in a personal endurance challenge.

Cycling – Pro Racing

At Gran Premio New York City, professional teams race the same course as riders at the Michelob ULTRA GFNY World Championship NYC – but with a 10-minute head start. The second edition will be held on May 18, 2025 and aims to be at 1.1 level with World Tour teams racing.
