GFNY announces global partnership with Alé as official apparel supplier
April 30, 2025

The renowned Italian brand will supply official race jerseys and other cycling apparel for over 30 GFNY events worldwide
NEW YORK CITY (April 30, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – GFNY Global Endurance Sports Series, is proud to announce a new strategic partnership with Alé, a leading Italian brand in technical cycling apparel. Beginning in May 2025, Alé will be the official race jersey supplier for more than 30 GFNY events across 13 countries, including the USA, France, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Indonesia.
“We’re thrilled to be joining forces with GFNY, a series that has united cyclists from all over the world through a shared passion for this sport,” says Alessia Piccolo, CEO of APG, the parent company of Alé. “It’s an honor for Alé to contribute to such an inspiring and inclusive project. Our jerseys, already chosen by UCI events, World Tour professional teams, and prestigious national cycling federations, are designed to offer each participant the very best in terms of quality and performance, helping make the experience of “Be a Pro for a day” even more authentic.”
Since 2017, GFNY has produced its own apparel line, worn by over 200,000 riders worldwide. This collaboration with Alé combines GFNY’s firsthand knowledge of rider needs with Alé’s advanced design and manufacturing capabilities.
The result is a refined product line that maintains GFNY’s established identity while benefiting from Alé’s technical resources and commitment to performance wear. The partnership reinforces GFNY’s mission to deliver not just a race, but a complete rider experience from start to finish.
Each participating rider will receive a custom-designed Alé jersey that is mandatory attire for the race. Alé’s cutting-edge technical fabrics include:
- LIGHT POINT: A breathable, fast-drying microfiber offering UPF 50+ sun protection, perfect for endurance efforts.
- SKIN 120 sleeves: Laser-cut for a second-skin fit, combining sleek aesthetics with high-performance comfort.
“At GFNY, every decision we make starts with one question: what would we want as riders? Over 200,000 riders later, we know what it takes to make a jersey that feels right at 7am on the start line and still delivers 100km later, says Uli Fluhme, CEO of GFNY. “Our new partnership with Alé is a continuation of that philosophy. With an incredible Italian design heritage and decades of invaluable experience outfitting the world’s top teams, Alé shares our obsession with quality, function, and feel – and the passion for cycling. Together, we’re building gear that lives up to the ride—and to the riders who make GFNY what it is.”
GFNY events combine the thrill of competition with the camaraderie of a global community, uniting riders from all walks of life under the shared mission to Be a Pro for a Day. The addition of Alé’s world-class jerseys only enhances that mission, providing participants with the look and feel of the professional peloton — wherever they race.

Cycling – Pro Racing
At Gran Premio New York City, professional teams race the same course as riders at the Michelob ULTRA GFNY World Championship NYC – but with a 10-minute head start. The second edition will be held on May 18, 2025.
Adding a women’s pro race would elevate the event further. The proposed format would have women starting 45 minutes ahead of the men’s pro race, giving them their own stage. However, the extended road closures required for this addition increase costs by $100,000.
For those interested in supporting women’s racing, GFNY is inviting companies and organizations to help sponsor this important addition. Contact GFNY to discuss partnership opportunities.
