Legacy 40th Memphis in May Triathlon for Sale

Memphis, TN /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – P.R Event Management will offer to interested and qualified parties the opportunity to acquire the Legacy 40th Memphis in May Olympic and Sprint Triathlons in time for the 2024 season.

Since the inception of the Memphis In May Triathlon in 1983 the event has been instrumental in shaping the sport of triathlon in the United States. The race has seen many professional athletes that have gone on to win some of the largest triathlons in the world. Peter Reid, Lance Armstrong, Tim Deboom, Andrew Starykowicz, Karen Smyers, and Natasha Badmann have all competed in the Memphis In May Triathlon before and during winning world championships. These quality competitors and the thousands of age group competitors have made this event a legacy triathlon.

MIM Tri won the USAT Triathlon of the Year 1997 under Pam and Wyndell’s leadership.

“Since racing my first triathlon in 1984 and race directing the MIM Tri since 1994, I have loved the sport and it is now time to pass the baton” stated race director Pam Routh.

40-year-old Memphis in May Olympic Triathlon & Equipment Plus Two Tri Events are for Sale

The Memphis in May Olympic and Sprint Triathlons, Annie Oakley Buffalo Bill Sprint and Super Sprint Triathlons, and DragonFly Sprint Triathlon, along with all race equipment, bike racks, a Ford F550 diesel truck and 28’ goose neck enclosed trailer are for sale.

Veteran USAT Race Directors Wyndell Robertson and Pam Routh, co-founders of PR Event Management LLC, have built a first-class brand / experience with these triathlons and are ready to hand off the name and direction to appropriate interested parties. The 2024 MIM Tri event is USAT Sanctioned, permitting is already in process, a potential site has been selected, and registration is ready to open as soon as a buyer comes forward.
