Gran Fondo World Tour® officially launched with the Epic Gran Canaria by Riu Hotels

Gran Canaria, Spain 9 february /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Gran Fondo World Tour® officially launched with the Epic Gran Canaria by Riu Hotels, bringing together 600 cyclists from 23 different nationalities to the stunning Canary Islands. This premier cycling event marked the start of an exciting season for the global series.

Over the course of two days, participants experienced breathtaking island landscapes, competing across two stages with three timed sections. The event took advantage of Gran Canaria’s ideal spring weather, providing an unforgettable ride for all competitors.

The partnership between Maspalomas and Gran Canaria proved to be a significant driver of tourism, generating nearly €750,000 in economic impact and reaching over one million impressions on social media.
