Elevation Cycles to Sponsor Team Evergreen for 2021 Season

EVERGREEN, COLO, Dec. 29th 2020 — Team Evergreen, the largest, longest-running cycling club in Colorado, is proud to announce Elevation Cycles as a new sponsor in 2021. In addition to being a welcoming bike team along the front range, Team Evergreen also puts on a wide variety of organized bike rides and races. Having hosted the Triple Bypass Ride and the Mt. Evans Hill Climb for years, Team Evergreen added the Beti Bike Bash, and Co2uT Desert Gravel in 2020 with plans to add even more events to its roster in 2021.

The original Elevation Cycles shop (in Highlands Ranch) opened in 2012. They quickly developed a strong customer-base and saw the need for a second, third and fourth shop (Downtown Denver, Parker and Denver East, respectively). In addition to the typical bike shop offerings – bikes, cycling accessories, service, etc. they also offer clinics and group rides throughout the year – something that made this sponsorship decision an easy one. “Elevation Cycles is thrilled to expand our support of the community by partnering with an organization with as rich a social mission as Team Evergreen,” said Whitney Tabaian, of Elevation Cycles. “We are excited to see the impact of our shared commitment to having more people’s lives transformed through cycling.”

Jen Barbour, Executive Director of Team Evergreen added, “Though we are formally Team Evergreen, we joke that we should really be called ‘Team Everywhere’. Our motto is ‘You belong here,’ and that shows by the wide range of cyclists we get from all over Colorado and beyond. This might be a roadie that regularly makes the drive down from Steamboat for warmer spring group rides, or a gravel rider from Parker that found out about us through Co2uT, or someone flying in from out of state for the Triple Bypass Ride. Our members and event participants are always looking for “a good shop”. With four friendly, service-oriented shops to choose from along the front range of Colorado, Elevation Cycles couldn’t be a more perfect fit.”
