Inspired by a Champion
The Davis Phinney Foundation was established by Davis Phinney, an Olympic bronze medalist and professional cyclist, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s at age 40. Phinney’s remarkable career, marked by numerous victories—including stages of the Tour de France—embodies a spirit of resilience and determination. His journey with Parkinson’s inspired the inception of The Victory Summit event as a platform to help others take action to improve their well-being with Parkinson’s.
“Living with Parkinson’s is a challenging journey, but one that does not have to be faced alone,” said Phinney. “The Victory Summit event is about coming together, sharing knowledge, and lighting a path toward a stronger and more hopeful future. Each event is a testament to what we can achieve when we unite in the face of adversity.”
