Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation and Zwift Ride on for the Start of Awareness Week
December 1, 2020
Zwift and the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation are excited to come together for two rides on a very important Giving Tuesday (Dec 1).
Ride with IBD patient and professional cyclist Cory Greenberg to help the foundation reach their goal of $15,000 as they raise awareness for Crohn’s & Colitis Awareness Week (December 1–7). Awareness Week is designed to bring together the IBD community around a shared goal—to raise awareness and educate the public about IBD as part of our mission to see a future free of Crohn’s and colitis.
Millions of people live with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis, and countless others, including friends and family members, are touched by these diseases. Everyone experiences these diseases differently, and no one day looks the same in the life of a member of the IBD community.
Invite your friends to ride together and/or donate from all over the world in support of this great cause.
Date: Giving Tuesday, December 1st, two rides at 710am and 210pm PST

Cory Greenberg, of Team Veloclub Ratisbona, was diagnosed back in 2008 when he was just 20 years old and hospitalized with ulcerative colitis.
After his hospitalization, Cory vowed to do everything in his power to overcome his disease and become a professional cyclist. Against all the odds, Cory did just that. Now, just eight years after his first hospitalization, he has also achieved remission.
Cory has turned his attention to supporting those with IBD by merging his love of cycling and awareness of IBD together.
“I want to bring together people from all around the world to ride together, raise awareness of IBD, and finally create the change needed to make this disease a thing of the past.” -Cory Greenberg
