Bellingham, Wash. April 23, 2020 – Cirrus Cycles, the maker of the Kinekt suspension post and Kinekt stem, is pleased to announce a partnership with Nathan O’Neill and OnEdge Sport Sales, LLC, to increase their presence in the south eastern states of the US.
“We are very excited to add Nathan and his team to our USA National Sales Force. He brings a strong depth and expertise into our team,” said Evan Wert, Global Sales and Marketing Director. “We had been looking for the right partner in that region for a bit now, and we have found it in Nathan.”
O’Neill, 45, brings with him a diverse career and a lifetime of bike experience.
Following an impressive career as a professional bike racer, which included eight Australian national champion titles and a gold medal at the Commonwealth games, O’Neill turned to a career in the industry. He dabbled in coaching, bike mechanics, bike shop management and race production before landing on tech consulting and sales.
After spending several years with Pioneer Cyclesports Division, he set up his own sales business —OnEdge Sports Sales, LLC — which also represents brands like BMC, Jakroo, 4iiii, Reynolds Wheels, Selle SMP, Limar, Scion, and Gaerne.
With O’Neill’s vast experience and connections, Cirrus Cycles hopes to increase its presence in the south eastern region of the US from Georgia down to Florida.
“When I first got connected with CIrrus Cycles, I’ll admit, I didn’t know about them, but I see a great product with tremendous opportunity in the e-bike and commuter realm,” said O’Neill.
“It’s a bit of a change in pace for me in terms of brand and audience, but I’m up for it! It’s a good product and I look forward to being in contact with a different customer base and dealers.”
Earlier this year, Cirrus Cycles, Inc. launched a successful Kickstarter campaign to raise support for their newest product: a suspension stem. Built on the success of their Kinekt Suspension Seatpost, the stem makes use of the same patented parallelogram design to offer 20mm of active suspension. The result: a smoother, more comfortable and more controllable ride. The funding campaign reached its goal in a mere five days, and the product will be delivered in May.

About Cirrus Cycles:
The BodyFloat/KINEKT Seatpost was born out of necessity by co-founder Paul Barkley after serving in the Peace Corps on the rough roads of Uganda. While bicycle evolution was clearly not the mission of his return trip to Africa, he found it essential to improve his endurance in the saddle while traveling extended distances on two wheels. As an excellent bike mechanic, former frame designer, fabricator and bike shop owner, he invented the first version of the Isolation Seatpost. This design became the basis of the current KINEKT Seatpost; a technically advanced isolation system that dramatically improves the comfort and performance of any bike and any rider. Cirrus Cycles Inc was formed to bring the seatpost to market and a patent for the product was issued to the company in 2014. www.cirruscycles.com
